The excavate-and-entice loop had my group arguing over turn order for two hours straight, which is exactly what I want from a game night. Building out the labyrinth tiles feels satisfying every round, and it plays great at three players.

The dragon art alone makes this worth it, but the excavation mechanic of digging through your own cavern really nails the solo feeling. Setup took a bit, yet once I got the rhythm of playing cards into the right cave chambers, time just disappeared.

I’ve played three games in one sitting—the labyrinth excavation mechanic is such a clever twist, and the dragon cards’ layered abilities kept me planning every move. The player boards feel sturdy, and the way the caves expand as you dig makes each session feel fresh.
