I already owned the physical board game, so getting a Steam key for the digital version in the same bundle was the easiest way to play solo without hauling out the box. The digital version runs smooth and the bird animations are a nice touch when you're just relaxing on the couch with a controller.
The Steam key arrived instantly and activated without a hitch, which is more than I can say for some digital bundles I've bought. Having both the physical board game and the digital version means I can play solo on my laptop or teach friends around the table.
Got the digital edition running on my laptop in maybe ten minutes, and having the physical board to actually hold the eggs and cards makes it feel like two games in one. The AI opponents are decent too, so I can squeeze in a round without waiting on friends.
