Expeditions Metal Mechs (grundspil)

These five mechs have a nice heft that the plastic ones just don't, and they sit on the board without tipping during play. The metallic finish picks up light well too, so they stand out from the rest of my setup.

I was honestly worried metal minis would feel flimsy or look cheap, but the level of detail on these five mechs is genuinely impressive. Set them up next to the board and they instantly make the game feel more premium. My only issue is I want about ten more of them now.

The weight on these mechs is perfect for tabletop—they don't tip over when I bump the board. They've survived a few drops onto hardwood already, which says a lot for metal minis. The heft alone makes my core game feel like a proper premium setup.
