Finspan: Sharks & Reefs

The reef overlay mats slide onto the table so cleanly, and the 75 coral tokens add a tactile layer that makes each round feel more deliberate. I've played four games since it arrived and the shark cards mix up my old strategies in a way that keeps the base game fresh.

I was a little worried the coral tokens would just be extra clutter, but they actually integrate smoothly with the new shark cards and add a real strategic layer to the reef mats. The 80 new fish cards give a solid chunk of replayability without making the setup feel overwhelming.

The reef overlay mats are a clever touch—they add a nice layer of strategy without slowing down the game. With 80 new cards and plenty of coral tokens, the variety feels substantial right out of the box.
