The engine-building really clicks once you see how the different bird powers chain together. My wife and I finished our first game in about 50 minutes, and the solo mode is surprisingly solid too. Already eyeing the expansions.
I’ve played this three times in one week already, and the way each bird’s ability chains into your next move keeps every game feeling fresh. The 40-90 minute playtime is spot on for a weeknight, and even at two players it’s surprisingly tense.
The bird cards and their unique abilities keep every round interesting, and the way your engine builds up over three rounds is so satisfying. Setup takes a few minutes but the 40-90 minute playtime feels just right for a weeknight session.
