Wasn't sure 25 cards would change much, but the Asian birds bring some genuinely tricky new powers that had our group rethinking old strategies. The card stock matches the base game perfectly, so they shuffle in seamlessly.
Twenty-five new birds in one little pack is way more than I expected for the price, and the crane card has this lovely muted palette that fits right in with the base set. Shuffling them into my deck gave my usual engine a fresh feel without breaking anything.
Twenty-five new birds feels like a mini expansion, and the Asian species art fits right in with the base cards. Shuffling a few into my deck changed how often I bother with the wetlands row.
