These 40 wooden young tokens, 20 wooden school tokens, and 50 squishy egg tokens (TPR plastic) were designed specifically for Finspan (the game includes cardboard tokens).

One upgrade pack covers the quantities needed for a full 5-player game.* The tokens fit in the center well of the tray that comes in Finspan.

*UPDATE: In some 5-player games when all players pursue schools, it is possible to run out of deluxe school tokens. We recommend keeping cardboard schools as a backup for this situation. We offer stand-alone packs of deluxe school tokens for those who want extras.

I replaced all the cardboard chits with these wooden ones and the table presence is night and day. The 40 young tokens have a nice weight and the painted edges haven't chipped after a dozen plays. Setup takes a bit longer since they don't stack, but worth it.

The squishy eggs are such a satisfying upgrade—they’re soft enough to gently poke during play, and the wooden tokens give the whole table a nicer, sturdier feel. Having 110 pieces total means I never run short mid-game, which is exactly what I hoped for.

Joseph ★★★★★

The cardboard ones always felt flimsy, but these wooden tokens have real weight and the school tokens are much easier to grab during play. I got through a full game night with the squishy eggs, and honestly, they're a joy to handle. Worth the swap.
