This natural rubber playmat for Red Rising has double-stitched edges for durability and is an exact copy of the original board; it measures 410x284mm. It is single-sided (the bottom side has a grip surface). It ships in a sturdy cardboard tube.
Why switch to a natural rubber playmat? Some players prefer this neoprene-like material because it's easier to remove cards from them.
The double-stitched edges really show after a dozen game nights — no fraying at all. It's an exact match to the board, so tokens sit right where they should instead of sliding around.
The rubber backing grips the table so well that the mat doesn’t shift even when I get a little too enthusiastic moving pieces. Edges feel solid with that double stitching, and the print matches the board exactly—no more glare off the tabletop during long games.
The double-stitched edges give me real confidence this won't fray after repeated game nights, and the grip on the bottom keeps it perfectly in place on our table. It fits the board exactly, no sliding or curling mid-game.
