Scythe Metal Mechs is an individually numbered, foil embossed boxed set containing 1 metal mech (inkwashed zinc) from each faction. The mechs are protected by a felt-lined insert with a clear plastic lid for display. This second print run is limited to exactly 4000 sets.

Due to the extremely high cost of producing these mechs–compounded with our desire to keep the price down as much as possible for Scythe fans–we are only selling the mechs directly from our webstore, and orders containing the Scythe metal mechs are exempt from free shipping.

If you're buying 4 sets of metal mechs to replace your plastic mechs, you can add on the silicone base snaps here. Please note that the mechs won't fit into the insert they shipped in after attaching the silicone bases. The insert is only meant to protect your mechs during shipping.

We will make more of this product if back-in-stock requests indicate enough demand to justify the minimum order quantity (for manufacturing) of 1000 units.

The inkwashed zinc finish gives each mech a nice weathered look, way better than plain painted metal. Mine came in a felt-lined insert that holds everything snug, no rattling around in the box. Numbered sets like this usually sell out fast, so I'm glad I grabbed one.

Didn't expect the inkwashed zinc to have this much weight in hand — each mech feels like a proper little chunk of metal, not cheap cast stuff. The foil embossed box is sturdier than most collector sets I've bought, and mine came numbered on the lid which was a nice touch.
