Quests in Vantage point players in a direction (north, southeast, etc) and can lead to frustration if the destination isn't found. Likewise, players have expressed a desire to use boats to sail across the ocean (instead of the alternatives found in the game). To address these concerns, the Trail and Sail errata pack includes 1 updated MOVE storybook and 52 updated quest and boat cards.

You do not need these cards to automatically have these changes in Vantage if you use the free Rulepop storybook web app.

The included move storybook is the same as the one available in the Storybook Pack.

These changes are implemented starting in Vantage's third printing (see "third printing" near the FSC logo on the back of the box).

Julian ★★★★★

Was skeptical an errata pack was worth buying, but the corrected quest cards finally stopped sending us in circles when the destination wasn't anywhere on the map. The sailing additions are a nice bonus too, though I mostly grabbed it for the fixed directions.

Ruby ★★★★★

The errata cards slide right into the existing box and finally make the directional quests and sailing rules click without us having to house-rule mid-game. Both printings covered is a huge plus for our group since we’ve got mixed copies at the table.

Ella ★★★★★

I was worried this was just a tiny page of corrections, but the direction cards are printed on sturdy cardstock and the new quest icons are much clearer. Took about ten minutes to swap everything in, and now sailing finally makes sense without a rulebook hunt.
