The three-trail layout makes you actually plan your dice instead of just grabbing points, which is a nice change of pace from the base realms. Six cards for the price felt fair too.
Used this with the core game and the three-trail hike feels like a fresh twist—you're constantly deciding which die to commit to a site before the trail ends. The parks theme fits nicely, and for six cards it adds a surprising amount of replay value.
The trail mechanic where you hike left to right across three paths fits the dice placement so well, and it plays totally differently from the base realms. Six cards sounds small but they slot right in and give you a fresh scoring puzzle.
