The double-sided design is what sold me, and it's genuinely handy having the two player-count ranges on one mat. Cards and landmark minis sit snugly in their slots so nothing slides around mid-game. Rubber has a nice grip to it too.
The stitching around the edges is holding up great even after a few sessions where we weren't exactly gentle with it, and the landmark slots keep everything from sliding around mid-game. It's a solid upgrade that makes setup and cleanup noticeably faster.
I was worried about wear and tear with our weekly game group, but flipping it to the other player-count side was a nice bonus. The slots for landmark miniatures hold everything snugly, and the rubber surface keeps cards from sliding all over the table.
