Category:
The metal mech miniatures have a satisfying heft that the plastic ones never had, and they paint up way nicer too. The corruption theme carries through the new expedition cards in a way that made our last campaign genuinely tense.
Swapping the plastic for metal minis was worth every extra penny, they have real weight and the detail on the mech joints is crisp. The corruption mechanic also adds a nice layer of tension to the tundra expeditions.
These minis have real heft compared to the plastic ones I've been playing with for years. The corruption mechanic adds a nice tension to our campaign nights.
